About the Men’s Golf Association…

Membership in the Men’s Golf Association is open to all male golf members of Oak Meadow Country Club ages 18 and older. If you’re new to Oak Meadow, please be sure to join us!

The mission of the Men’s Golf Association’s is to conduct golfing events and tournaments for the members that promote good fellowship, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for the game of golf. Below, you will find details of all of our MGA events.

MGA dues are $125 per year; all dues are returned to the members by awarding event prizes and providing excellent food and beverage opportunities!

2015 MGA Events:

• MGA Kickoff Dinner- Friday April 10th
• Opening Day Scramble – Saturday, April 18
  • Includes lunch after golf
• Spring Member/Member – Saturday, May 2 & Sunday, May 3
  • Lunch after Sunday Round included
• MGA Saturday – Saturday, June 13th
• MGA Saturday – Saturday, July 18th
• Fall Member/Member – Saturday, October 3 & Sunday, October 4
  • Lunch after Sunday Round included
• Club Championship – Saturday, September 26 & Sunday, September 27
  • lunch after Sunday Round included
• Points Championship – Shootout! – Saturday, October 24
  • All above are qualifiers into this event, plus the Men’s Club Championship.

POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP – SHOOTOUT!

• MGA Champion Shootout will be held Saturday, November 7th
• Six places will be paid with $200.00 to the shootout winner!
• Earn points by participating in MGA events and Men’s Club Championship!
• Points are awarded to ALL participants in each event!

Highest total point earners from four MGA events and Men’s Club Championship will decide the 12 qualifiers to compete for a purse of $500.00! You don’t have to participate in all MGA tournaments, but the more tournaments you participate in, the more opportunities you’ll have to earn enough points to qualify for the final Points Championship Shootout!
